Aim of Sessions: To tie together everything the children have learned about Meditation & Mindfulness since KS1, from techniques to theory. The topic ‘Meditation’ teaches the Year 6 children how to meditate, what stillness is and how to use meditation to help them day to day.
Activities: What is Meditation?, 5 Finger Breathing / Box Breathing, Meditation Practice, Stillness, Body Scan with Chris – Guided Meditation, Yoga, Thoughts and Feelings, Gratitude Jar
