Aim of Sessions: To develop Year 5 children’s understanding of mindfulness and meditation further with active meditation. The topic ‘Mindfulness’ encapsulates being present with your thoughts and how your body is feeling to deepen the children’s awareness.
Activities: What is Mindfulness?, 5 Finger Breathing / Box Breathing, Active Meditation, Yoga, Body Scan with Chris – Mindfulness, Mindful Walk, Thoughts and Feelings, Gratitude Jar
